Great speakers, reading programs, Mother Goose, crafts, songs, games and lots of fun! Meet other parents, share experiences, have a cup of coffee and discover how to raise a healthy and happy child.

Kid's Cook

Wednesday 1:00 - 3:00pm
Exchange favorite recipes, try new and fun food favourites, and learn how to make quick and easy snacks with your child. Please bring $1/child to help cover the cost of food supplies.

April Calendar

Current child development  research indicates that children respond best when they are involved in the planning process of activities.  “Best practices” in early childhood education encourage us to be more spontaneous in planning activities that meet specific children’s needs and interests. Planning activities as far as a month ahead so that they can be advertised in the newsletter does not allow us to meet this need. So...we’re trying a new approach in order that we can be more responsive to the children. Children will continue to be offered a variety of activities while visiting the centre, but they will help us plan.  Here’s to a new beginning!
